Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has recently been in the news for health-related reasons. A viral report surfaced on Monday, suggesting that the actor needed urgent eye surgery in Mumbai.
However, the surgery didn’t go as planned, leading to rumours that Khan would be heading to the US for further treatment. According to the report, SRK was expected to fly out on July 30.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Eye US Travel Report Causes Concerns About His Health
Bollywood Hungama reported that SRK had sought medical attention for his eyes. A source shared, “Shah Rukh Khan had gone to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29, for an eye treatment. The treatment didn’t go as planned.”
The source added, “SRK is now being rushed to the USA to rectify the damage.” This news caused an uproar among fans, who quickly began expressing their concern over the actor’s health.
Is Shah Rukh Khan Flying To The USA For Eye Treatment?
Well, it was later clarified that Shah Rukh had already undergone eye surgery before attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding.
Shah Rukh Khan is not flying to the USA for eye treatment. The actor already had his second eye treatment during his last visit to the USA.
Shah Rukh was dealing with issues in both eyes. He initially received treatment for one eye at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. After that, he had further treatment in the USA in July. Now, King Khan is doing well and is in good health.
According to Zoom, he is scheduled to visit Switzerland on August 8, although the reason for this trip remains unclear.
This isn’t the first time this year that Shah Rukh’s health has been in the spotlight. In May, during the IPL, the actor was reportedly hospitalised due to heatstroke in Ahmedabad.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Work Front
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan has been riding high after delivering three back-to-back hits last year with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. These films solidified his status as a box-office king.
While there are no releases slated for 2024, Khan has already signed up for a new project. He will star in an action thriller titled The King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Excitingly, this film will feature his daughter, Suhana Khan in a significant role.
