The Indian Men’s Hockey Team has made the entire country proud by becoming the first Indian team to win an Olympic medal in 41 years, defeating a tenacious Germany 5-4 in a thrilling play-off match at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. On social media, the entire Bollywood participated in applauding for the squad and congratulating the Men’s Hockey Team.
Farhan Akhtar, on the other hand, congratulated the women’s hockey team on winning the gold medal in haste. He swiftly deleted the message, though.
In the now-deleted tweet, he wrote, “Go girls!! So proud of #TeamIndia for showing exemplary fighting spirit and bringing in our 4th medal. Super stuff.” Farhan, on the other hand, quickly realised his blunder and deleted the tweet. The eagle-eyed netizens, on the other hand, did not miss anything as they mocked the Toofan actor for making a major gaffe.
