Sonu Sood visited to his roots in Punjab last week to promote his upcoming action film, Fateh. The actor began his trip with a visit to the Golden Temple, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere before heading to the Wagah Border.
Now today he visited holy temple of Siddhivinayak in Mumbai on first of new year, just a week before release of his directorial debut.

Sonu Sood Screens Special Glimpse Of Fateh For Soldiers
At the Wagah Border, Sonu took a moment to honour the bravery of India’s soldiers. This wasn’t just about promoting his film; it was a heartfelt tribute to the jawans who protect the country’s borders.
He also visited Check Post 102, a historic site that marks the partition boundary between India and Pakistan. The crowd gathered there cheered loudly as Sonu made his way through, showing his deep connection to his homeland and its people.
During his visit, Sonu gave the soldiers a special preview of Fateh. The filmmakers later shared the moment in a video. They wrote, “Uss jazbe ki, sarhadd par ladne wale har fauji ki #Fateh! It’s time for the 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐌 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑.”

The trailer of Fateh has already created a buzz, showcasing Sonu in a role that’s both intense and thrilling. In the film, he plays an ex-special ops officer on a mission to take down a dangerous cybercrime network. The film also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vijay Raaz, adding to the star power. The trailer has left fans eager for more.
Actor On Playing ‘Fateh’
Sonu shared his excitement about the role & called it a dream come true. He said that Fateh allowed him to play a common man who harbours a superhero’s strength. He believes everyone has the potential to be a hero, and with Fateh, he was able to tap into that side of himself. He hopes the film not only entertains but also inspires viewers.
Sonu also discussed what Fateh means to him on a deeper level. He explained that true victory, or “Fateh,” is about being someone’s hope. It’s not about fame or wealth; it’s about changing someone’s life. He believes that when someone leaves their village with the hope that they’ll make a difference, that is the essence of Fateh.
