Sonu Sood is creating a buzz with the release of his upcoming film Fateh’s second song, “Hitman.” The track features Sonu alongside the rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, delivering an energetic, foot-tapping anthem filled with Punjabi pride.
‘Hitman’ Song From Fateh OUT
Written by Leo Grewal and choreographed by Bosco Martis, the music video showcases Sonu in a sharp all-black uniform, while Honey Singh brings his trademark swagger to the performance. The song, which lasts for 3 minutes and 38 seconds, is intense and catchy.
Sonu shared the song on Instagram and wrote, “They’re here with a tsunami! Punjabi Munde bring the storm. Hitman Out Now.”
His post quickly got fans buzzing, building up anticipation for both the film and the soundtrack.

What Sonu Sood Said On His Collab With Honey Singh
Reflecting on the collaboration, Sonu recalled their first meeting years ago in Chandigarh. He shared, “Honey’s music had the pulse of the streets back then, and it still does today. Collaborating with him for Hitman feels like destiny coming full circle. His beats have given Fateh the edge it needed. This song is a powerhouse of intensity, addictive melody, and sheer Punjabi pride.”
Honey Singh also shared his thoughts & spoke about their long friendship. He said, “I’ve known Sonu sir for more than 16 years. Even back then, I knew he wasn’t just meant to act in films – he was born to create them. When he showed me chunks of Fateh, I felt his passion as a filmmaker. Getting the privilege to create ‘Hitman’ for this amazing movie was like putting the soundtrack to his vision.”
Bosco Martis, who directed the music video, praised both Sonu and Honey for their collaboration. “Working with Honey for the first time was incredible; his energy was truly infectious. His style, his vibe, and my vision all aligned perfectly. And then, there was Sonu—so cool and collaborative. Directing both of them was such a fulfilling experience.”

Fateh marks Sonu Sood’s debut as a director. The film, produced by Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions, tells the gripping story of courage, resilience, and the fight against cybercrime. It is set to release in theatres on January 10, 2025.
