Fans of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are in for a treat this Independence Day, as the makers of their upcoming film Fighter revealed a big announcement on August 15 at 10 AM. The announcement was teased by both actors and actresses of the film, Hrithik Roshan tweeted with the caption “Spirit Of Fighter | Vande Mataram , See you in the theaters on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day. Fighter releases worldwide on 25th January 2024.”

The video shows all three leading actors, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor walking with swag in Air Force uniform at an airbase. Video also starts with a caption from the director of War and Pathaan establishing Kickass box office record of Siddharth Anand in recent years.

Deepika Padukone was last seen in Pathaan, where she played an agent opposite Shah Rukh Khan. The film was directed by Siddharth Anand and also featured John Abraham as the antagonist. The film released on theatres on Republic Day, 2023, and became the highest grosser of the year so far.
Both Hrithik and Deepika have several other projects lined up for the future. Hrithik will be seen in Krrish 4, where he will reprise his superhero role from the Krrish franchise.
Deepika will be seen in Mahabharata, where she will play the role of Draupadi in a female-centric adaptation of the epic. The film will be produced by her own banner Ka Productions and will be directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film will also feature Aamir Khan as Krishna and Ranveer Singh as Arjun.
