Fukrey Makers Share Fun BTS Video To Celebrate The 11-Year Milestone
To mark this special occasion, the makers shared a nostalgic behind-the-scenes video on social media. The video features the cast enjoying their time on set, reflecting on the vision behind creating this entertaining film.

Following the success of the original, the Fukrey franchise expanded with two more instalments, Fukrey Returns and Fukrey 3. Both sequels continued the legacy, becoming major hits and living up to the fans’ expectations.
About Fukrey Franchise
The Fukrey franchise is a series of Hindi-language comedy thriller films. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, the films are directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and distributed by AA Films. The story follows four friends: Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), Laali (Manjot Singh), and Zafar (Ali Fazal), who try to make quick money, leading to hilarious and chaotic situations.
The first film, Fukrey, released in 2013, introduces these quirky characters. Choocha has a unique ability to dream of winning lottery numbers, and Hunny can interpret these numbers. The group tries to buy leaked exam papers but lacks the money. They turn to local gangster Bholi Punjaban (Richa Chadha), and their plan spirals into a wild adventure.
Fukrey Returns (2017) reunites the friends after Bholi Punjaban’s release from jail. They persuade her to invest in a lottery scheme, but their plan goes wrong when the numbers change. The film mixes humour, suspense, and unexpected twists as they try to escape trouble.
Fukrey 3, released on 28 September 2023, continues the story with Bholi Punjaban becoming a local politician in Delhi. Hunny convinces Choocha to run against her in the election. The film showcased Bholi’s fiercer side and continued the franchise’s success, earning Rs 8.82 crore in India on its opening day.
