The official teaser of the much-awaited romantic film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was dropped today. The one-minute 20-second long teaser just provides glimpses of the film and its characters. Starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, and Jaya Bachchan, the film is directed by Karan Johar. Johar, whose last directorial venture was the 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is helming the film in his 25th anniversary year in Bollywood.
In the teaser, the viewers got a glimpse of a beautiful romantic track titled “Tum Jo Mile”. The song is sung by Arijit Singh, while Pritam has composed it. It has been written by Bollywood’s go-to lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya. After last year’s Kesariya, the magical trio is back with a bang and only the glimpses have amped up the excitement to another level. Now, fans are asking for more and hoping that the song gets some space in the film’s official trailer which is slated to launch next month.
The love anthem, called “Tum Jo Mile”, is beautifully edited with gorgeous-looking clips from the film in the teaser. A lot of the scene has Ali and Ranveer dancing in the old-fashioned Karan Johar style, with beautiful locations and costumes.
About The Film
Written by Ishita Moitra and directed by Karan Johar, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani tells the story of two families. It also stars Shabana Azmi, Ronit Roy, Saswata Chatterjee, and Tota Roy Chowdhury in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on July 28. After, this Karan also plans to work on a film in the action genre. In 2021, he decided to shelve his highly ambitious project Takht.
