After building anticipation, the makers of Ground Zero have finally dropped the first-look poster of the Emraan Hashmi starrer. The film is set in Kashmir and follows a gripping tale of duty, sacrifice, and patriotism.
Box Office Worldwide had exclusively revealed the release date long back and it’s now official. Directed by Tejas Deoskar, the action-packed drama is set to hit theatres on April 25.
Emraan Hashmi’s Intense First Look As BSF Commandant
Emraan Hashmi took to Instagram to unveil the first poster, giving fans a glimpse of his powerful role. He plays BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dubey, a soldier caught in a high-stakes mission.
The poster is intense and shows him from behind without revealing his face. He grips a rifle against the hauntingly beautiful yet war-torn backdrop of Kashmir. A plume of smoke rises in the distance, hinting at the film’s high-voltage action.
The tagline – “Kar meher ka badla lunga, Naaji” (I will avenge Kashmir, Naaji) sets the tone for a gripping narrative filled with vengeance, honour, and resilience.
Emraan Shares His Reaction After Reading The Film’s Script
Sharing his thoughts on the script, Hashmi revealed, “I was blown away by the script. It’s a chapter from the history of our national security and encapsulates the adage – truth is stranger than fiction.”
He added, “My first reaction was – Did this really happen, and if so, how is it that not too many people know about it?”
More About Ground Zero
The film, inspired by real-life events, explores a two-year-long investigation into a critical national security threat. Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, the project also has a strong lineup of co-producers, including Kassim Jagmagia, Vishal Ramchandani, Sundeep C Sidhwani, Arhan Bagati, Talisman Films, Abhishek Kumar, and Nishikant Roy.
The cast also includes Sai Tamhankar, Mukesh Tiwari, and Zoya Hussain in pivotal roles.
