
On Monday night Mumbai police booked celebrities including Guru Randhawa and cricketer Suresh Raina for violating COVID norms.
According to a report published in a daily, the raid was conducted at 2:30 am and Sussanne Khan was also booked with other celebrities at the bash.
The raid was conducted following a raid at a pub for keeping it open beyond the permitted time limit. Guru Randhawa and Suresh Raina were later released on bail.
Quoting the Mumbai Police, a news agency had posted on Twitter, “They were later released on bail. “Police book 34 people including cricketer Suresh Raina & some other celebrities under Section 188, 269, 34 of IPC & provisions of NMDA after a raid at Dragonfly pub for keeping establishment open beyond permissible time limit & not following COVID norms.”
Recently Guru Randhawa announced that his song has been postponed as a respect to the ongoing farmers’ protest. Randhawa shared, “Postponed the release of my next single which was releasing this week with respect to our farmers. Me and Neha Kakkar will bring you our song soon. Till then love and respect.”
