Actor Harshvardhan Rane is set to return with another emotional love story. After the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam, the actor has finally announced his next film Deewaniyat. Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film will explore themes of love, heartbreak, and music.
Nine years after its initial release, Sanam Teri Kasam made a comeback in cinemas. The film had a limited box office run in 2016 and couldn’t do well at that time. However, it performed better on re-release, surpassing its previous earnings in a few days.
Fans appreciated his role and celebrated the film’s return. Following the renewed attention, he has now signed up for this new love story.
Harshvardhan Rane Announces Deewaniyat
Harshvardhan shared the motion poster of Deewaniyat on Instagram. The visuals hint at an intense love story filled with passion and pain. The actor expressed his gratitude to fans for supporting his work and shared his thoughts on the new project.
He shared, “I’m grateful to the audience for the overwhelming love they have given me for Sanam Teri Kasam. The power of a love story is eternal, and when I heard the madness, passion, and craziness of the role and script of Deewaniyat, I immediately chose it to be my next film.”
About This Upcoming Project
Deewaniyat is directed by Milap Milan Zaveri (known for films like Satyameva Jayate and Marjaavaan). The script is co-written by Mushtaq Shiekh, who has previously worked on Om Shanti Om. The lead actress has not been revealed yet.
The project is produced by Amul V Mohan and Anshul Mohan under Vikir Films. The production house recently worked on The Sabarmati Report. Filming is set to begin this year and the movie is expected to be released in 2025 itself.

Harshvardhan Rane recently shared a video of himself surprising fans at a screening of Sanam Teri Kasam. In the clip, he thanked audiences for their support. “I just did my job, Deepak sir did his task, and now you are doing your duty!” he wrote.
