Gulshan Grover is returning as ‘Kabira’ in Hera Pheri 3. If you have watched Hera Pheri (2000), you will definitely remember his chilling dialogue – “Kabira speaking.”
Now, he is set to reprise his iconic role as the crime lord. With Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal reuniting under Priyadarshan’s direction, everyone is excited about the threequel.
Gulshan Grover Confirms His Return In Hera Pheri 3
Gulshan confirmed to mid-day and said, “Yes, Kabira returns.” He shared that he has had multiple discussions with producer Firoz Nadiadwala and is eager to bring the character back.
In the original comedy classic, Kabira’s failed ransom demand from Rawal’s Baburao led to a series of hilarious moments. The character made a brief appearance in Phir Hera Pheri (2006). However, Grover’s Kabira will have a bigger role this time.
He said that his character will also have a fresh look and both negative and positive shades. When asked about the changes, Grover kept it mysterious: “I cannot say much at this stage.”
The anticipation for Hera Pheri 3 is already high. The franchise has a cult following, thanks to its iconic dialogues and unforgettable comedy. Bringing back a fan-favourite villain like Kabira only adds to the excitement.
Gulshan Grover’s Work Front
Grover was last seen in Indian 2 (2024) and has a busy schedule ahead. He is working on Love in Vietnam, Nagraj Manjule’s Matka King, and an action-comedy produced by Karan Johar starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan.
Speaking about his career choices, he reflected, “I believe an actor, who has created a brand, has to be careful about what he takes up in his later years. My dear friend Anil Kapoor has set a good example for this.”
