Fans of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have been eagerly waiting for the teaser of their upcoming action film Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand. However, they will have to wait a little longer as the makers have decided to release the teaser at the end of November, instead of attaching it to Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, which is slated to hit the screens on November 14.
Fighter teaser was planned with Tiger 3 but here’s why they’ll skip
Much like the speculations, Team Fighter was indeed planning to launch a short teaser featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone on Diwali and attach it to the prints of Tiger 3. “It was a great opportunity to reach out to the audience as Tiger 3 is a potential big money spinner,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.
However, when Aditya Chopra and Hrithik Roshan informed about the latter’s cameo in Tiger 3, Siddharth decided to space out all the announcements.
According to a source close to the project, the reason behind this decision is to avoid any confusion or comparison between Hrithik’s two different characters – Agent Kabir from War and Patty from Fighter. Hrithik’s appearance is a build-up to the next YRF Spy Universe Film, War 2. “Hrithik in Tiger 3 is a spiritual announcement of War 2. The appearance of Hrithik as Agent Kabir in this Salman Khan film is sure to be the talk of the town and a viral internet moment. Siddharth knows that Kabir is an iconic character and doesn’t want to introduce Patty to the audience amid Kabir Mania. The teaser for Fighter will be released two weeks after the release of Tiger 3, at the end of November,” the source continued.

Film Wrap For Hrithik Roshan And Deepika Padukone Starrer ‘Fighter’
The shooting of Fighter has been wrapped and the director has certainly dropped an update on 1st of November.
Director Siddharth Anand has indeed grabbed every eyeball on his social media as he dropped the most awaited update of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor starrer Fighter, that the film has finally been wrapped. While sharing a picture from the sets, the director wrote a caption –
“And it’s a film shoot wrap on #FIGHTER !”
As the director shared this exciting update, Hrithik Roshan also shared the update on his social media.
Fighter is touted to be India’s first aerial action film, featuring Hrithik and Deepika as pilots. The film is set to release on January 25, 2024. It will mark the first collaboration between Hrithik and Deepika, who are among the most popular and highest-paid actors in Bollywood. The film is also expected to have some high-octane stunts and breathtaking visuals.
