Hrithik Roshan, one of the most popular and versatile actors in Bollywood, has expressed his admiration for Naseeruddin Shah’s short film directorial debut Man Woman Man Woman. The film, which stars Ratna Shah and Vivaan Shah in the leading roles and also stars Saba Azad in a pivotal role.
The short film explores the complex relationships between the characters and will be releasing on YouTube today.

Saba Azad took to her Instagram account yesterday to share the trailer of Man Woman Man Woman. She wrote, “What happens when Man Woman Man Woman come together in strangely beautiful ways? ” further added that the film will be released on 25th August.
Hrithik also took to his Instagram stories to give a special shout out to the short film for his lady love. He wrote, “What a fabulous directorial debut by Naseer Sir! Enjoyed every bit of it.” And tagged Saba.
Naseeruddin Shah Returns To Direction With Man Woman Man Woman After 17 Years
Over 17 years since his maiden directorial venture, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota (2006), Naseeruddin has picked up the directorial baton again for Man Woman Man Woman and this film marks as his first short film directorial ever.
Reflecting on his previous directorial venture, Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota, Shah had expressed disappointment with the outcome and took full accountability for it.
The short film features his actor-wife Ratna Pathak Shah, son Vivaan Shah, Tarun Dhanrajgir and Saba Azad. His elder son Imaad Shah was an associate director on the project.

Naseeruddin Shah’s entire family collaborates on Man Woman Man Woman
The veteran actor wrote this relationship drama with his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, and shot it in October over just six days. On Ratna and Vivaan’s central parts, he says, “Ratna plays a woman with a sense of humour, determined to enjoy every moment in her life, and who doesn’t cower down to people. For Vivaan’s role, I wanted him to shed his intensity as he had to play a quieter and more laidback person.”
The senior actor commented on collaborating with the family, “They are all actors on sets and don’t behave like family. Sometimes, they take a little liberty with me. Vivaan and Ratna have worked with me as a director, and know what to expect. In fact, at one point, I got angry and Vivaan gave me a hug and said Baba, cool it”
Saba Azad On Her Relationship with Hrithik Roshan
There’s immense scrutiny and speculation about the relationship of Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad. In a recent interview with News18, Saba had admitted that it’s unsettling. She said that it would get to anyone, but it’s just a part of the course. People are morbidly interested in other people’s lives and there’s nothing that they can do about it. Hence, it’s just important to keep one’s head down and keep working. One can’t let it affect themselves, so, she just smiles and carries on with her life. It’s a part of her job. The only thing which Saba wants to be public is her work, apart from that, anything else isn’t anyone’s business.
