Jio Studios To Showcase Mrs, Saali Mohabbat & Hisaab Barabar At IFFI 2024
At this year’s festival, Jio Studios is showcasing a mix of genres that range from gripping thrillers to heartfelt dramas and thought-provoking social commentaries.
The much-anticipated Saali Mohabbat leads the way, a thrilling “howdunit” mystery that marks the debut production of celebrated fashion stylist-turned-producer Manish Malhotra. Starring Radhika Apte and Divyenndu, the film promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
Also premiering is Mrs., a moving drama featuring Sanya Malhotra, whose standout performance has already received standing ovations at international festivals. Mrs. will have its Asia premiere at IFFI, adding to the excitement surrounding the studio’s strong presence at the event.
Alongside these, Hisaab Barabar offers a satirical take on social issues. Starring R. Madhavan, this film blends humour with intense drama to tackle the serious issue of financial fraud. It tells the story of a common man’s struggle to expose a billion-dollar scam involving a corporate bank, ensuring both emotional depth and sharp wit.

In addition to these highly anticipated films, Jio Studios is also making waves with Article 370, which has been selected for the prestigious Indian Panorama section at IFFI 2024. The film is among the 25 films chosen from a pool of 384 entries, further cementing Jio Studios’ growing reputation for producing high-quality content that resonates with both critics and audiences.
The studio’s impressive lineup reflects its commitment to creating a diverse range of films. This comes on the back of an extraordinary year for Jio Studios, which includes India’s official entry to the Oscars with Laapataa Ladies, the record-breaking success of Stree 2, the supernatural hit Shaitaan, and the recent blockbuster Singham Again.
Jio Studios’ Jyoti Deshpande To Participate In A Key Panel Discussion
Adding to the studio’s already stellar presence, Jyoti Deshpande, President of Media and Content Business at Reliance Industries, is set to participate in a key panel discussion at IFFI titled ‘Women in Films – India Chapter: A New Vision’.
Deshpande will share the stage with prominent voices such as Guneet Monga, Andria Wilson, Tilottama Shome, and Aparna Purohit. The discussion will centre around the role of women in cinema and how diverse voices and strong female leadership are helping shape the future of the film industry.
