Radhika Apte, Divyendu, Anurag Kashyap’s Saali Mohabbat To Be Screened At 55th IFFI In Goa

Saali Mohabbat will have its world premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India in Goa on November 22.

Tisca Chopra’s first directorial film, Saali Mohabbat, will have its world premiere at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji, Goa. The suspense thriller will be shown on November 22 and stars Radhika Apte, Divyenndu, Anshumaan Pushkar, Sauraseni Maitra, Sharat Saxena, and Anurag Kashyap.

Sharing the update, the makers wrote, “At the 55th International Film Festival of India, don’t miss the World Premiere of Saali Mohabbat, directed by Tisca Chopra! Witness the story unfold on the big screen and be part of a memorable cinematic experience.”

The film is produced by Manish Malhotra, a celebrity fashion designer who makes his debut as a producer. Malhotra has finally stepped into filmmaking with Saali Mohabbat

He talked about his involvement and said, “With Stage5 Production, my aim is to create cinematic experiences that are gripping and thought-provoking. The moment I read the script of Saali Mohabbat, I was drawn to its intense and thrilling narrative.”

Chopra also shared her personal connection to the film. She said, “Saali Mohabbat is a story close to my heart, and I’m incredibly grateful to Manish Malhotra and Jio Studios for trusting in my vision and supporting my journey as a director. I hope audiences connect with its raw emotion and suspense, and I couldn’t be more excited to present it at IFFI, a festival that celebrates diverse and bold voices in cinema.”

About The Film & 55th IFFI

Saali Mohabbat tells the story of a housewife caught in a complex situation involving infidelity, deceit, and murder. It explores deep emotions and themes like betrayal and the impact of forbidden love.

The premiere at IFFI will be a glamorous event with a red carpet attended by Chopra, Malhotra, producers Deshpande and Malhotra, and actors Divyenndu and Pushkar. The 55th edition of IFFI runs from November 20 to 28, with the Film Bazaar, a South Asian film market, taking place from November 20 to 24. This year, IFFI has added a new award category—Best Debut Director of Indian Feature Film.
