Salman Khan is back in action, but not without some drama. The superstar is set to make his grand return to the big screen in Sikandar, a project he started with Sajid Nadiadwala earlier this year. Fans were excited, but recent events have stirred up some concerns
Following the shocking murder of Baba Siddique, reports emerged suggesting that Salman may be hitting the brakes on the film’s shoot. The Khan family is understandably concerned, especially with troubling incidents happening near their home.
Adding to the worry, they lost a close friend and a notable political figure recently. In light of these circumstances, Salman has opted to stay out of the spotlight for the time being.
Will Salman Khan POSTPONE Sikandar Shoot?
A source told Times Now, “It is no longer enough to provide him stern security. For some time now, Salman would have to lie really low. He won’t be shooting for anything for quite a while, indefinitely I’d say.” This statement underscores the gravity of the situation.
The source also highlighted the intense commitment needed for Sikandar, which requires Salman’s full focus. Given the emotional upheaval from Siddique’s tragic death, it seems difficult for the actor to give the project his all right now.
“Abhi kuch nahin kaha jaa sakta hai (Nothing can be said as of now). Sikandar requires a whole lot of choreographed action. Director Murugadoss needed Salman’s full attention. But right now that seems impossible. The way ahead is still very unclear. Right now, the most important thing is Salman and his family’s safety. That won’t be compromised under any circumstance,” the source added.
Sikandar Shoot Delay REPORTS Fake!!!
It turns out that the earlier reports about Salman postponing the Sikandar shoot have been exaggerated. Fresh updates indicate that he has officially resumed filming.
Contrary to reports suggesting a delay due to the threats linked to Baba Siddique’s murder and gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Salman is sticking to the schedule.
A source close to the production reassured fans, saying, “As per the planned schedule, Salman Khan will shoot for Sikandar.”
The next phase of filming is set to take place in Mumbai, after which Salman will head to Hyderabad for the subsequent schedule.

The film stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside Salman and is directed by A.R. Murugadoss. It also features Bahubali fame Sathyaraj and other notable actors like Kajal Aggarwal and Prateik Babbar in key roles.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s release, slated for Eid 2025. With the Sajid Nadiadwala Production backing it, Sikandar is expected to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
