After delivering the massive blockbuster Gadar 2 in 2023, action star Sunny Deol is ready to shake up the big screen again with Jaat. The much-anticipated trailer has arrived, promising high-voltage action, intense drama, and a heavy dose of nostalgia.
The best part is Deol recreating his iconic ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ dialogue from Damini (1993) and fans will surely love it.
Sunny Deol On A War For Justice In Jaat Trailer
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Jaat takes place in a lawless Indian village controlled by Randeep Hooda’s menacing Ranatunga. The trailer opens with a fighter jet soaring through the sky, setting the tone for the chaos ahead.
Police officers investigate brutal crimes committed by Ranatunga’s gang. The village is known as “Ranatunga’s Lanka,” a place where law has no meaning. Then comes Sunny Deol, the only man willing to take a stand against the terror.
With his signature no-nonsense attitude, Deol’s character storms in to restore order. He takes on ruthless criminals and faces off against Ranatunga himself.
“Main Jaat hoon”- he declares with a thunderous presence, sending chills down spines. The action-packed trailer delivers high-octane fight sequences, intense confrontations, and a gripping underdog story.
Power-Packed Dialogues And Nostalgic Throwbacks Are The Highlights
One of the biggest highlights of the trailer is Deol’s recreation of his legendary ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ dialogue. This moment transports fans back to the Damini era, proving that the action star has still got it.
The dialogue-heavy trailer also includes a chilling monologue about Jaat’s unstoppable force. A young boy’s voice is heard in the background – Baba, aakhir kaun hai Jaat? Jis se pura shehar dehshat mein hai.” A man responds, “Woh Jaat hai. Usne kabhi haarna nahi sikha. Jaat ki zabaan ho ya talwar, jab chalti hai toh kaleja cheer deti hai.” This sets up an explosive showdown between Deol and Hooda’s characters.
