On Monday, we revealed that Kareena Kapoor and Sujoy Ghosh are collaborating on a suspense thriller for the first time. And now we have another another insider’s look at the flick. Sujoy has cast Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in important roles in the untitled film, according to our sources.

“It’s a taut thriller with grey characters and the filmmaker was keen to get the casting bang on. After contemplating on various names, he has got Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma to play two of the most important characters in the film,” revealed a source close to the development to Pinkvilla.
From February forward, the full cast will be shooting the film in one go. It’s a story that takes place in India’s uncharted highlands. Jaideep and Vijay have wowed audiences in recent years with their powerful performances in a variety of feature films and web series. As previously reported, the untitled thriller will be shot over a two-month period in Darjeeling and Kalimpong. It would be Bebo’s second film in 2022, following the Forrest Gump adaption Laal Singh Chaddha, which he co-starred in with Aamir Khan. The film is set to premiere in theatres on Valentine’s Day, 2022.

Kareena moves on to her next project with Hansal Mehta, which is produced by Ekta Kapoor, after finishing her work on Sujoy’s thriller. Even that is a thriller, but it takes place in an entirely different universe and is set to premiere in May 2022. A major superstar is also preparing to approach Bebo for an author-backed role in one of his next projects, according to our credible sources, although no communication has yet taken place. Under her kitty is also Karan Johar’s Takht, which will be released after KjO’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
