The excitement for Jigra has just increased. After releasing a teaser poster, the film’s makers have now shared a new, striking poster featuring Alia Bhatt.
In this latest poster, Alia looks like a fierce warrior. She wears a rugged fighter jacket and holds weapons, standing strong against a fiery background. Her serious expression hints at a critical mission.
Dharma Productions shared the poster with the caption, “Kahaani bahut lambi hai aur bhai ke paas waqt bahut bahut kam.” This hints that Alia’s character must act quickly to protect her on-screen brother Vedang Raina.
Another poster released earlier shows Alia from the back as she stands protectively in front of Vedang, who appears in the background.
The caption, “Tu mere protection mein hai,” translates to “You are in my protection,” indicating Alia plays a protective sister in the film.
About Jigra & Alia Bhatt’s Work Front
Jigra was originally set for a September 27 release but has been moved to October 11. This change happened because Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR’s film Devara took the original date.
Vedang Raina, who recently appeared in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies, makes his big-screen debut with Jigra.
Alia Bhatt announced the new release date on Instagram, increasing the film’s anticipation. Jigra is produced by Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Talking about Alia Bhatt’s work front, her upcoming schedule looks busy. She will next appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War. This film, starring Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor, is Bhansali’s first with Kaushal and marks a reunion with Kapoor after 17 years.
After the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bhansali and Bhatt are collaborating again. The film is set to release on Christmas Day 2025.
Additionally, Alia is preparing for Alpha, another major project with Yash Raj Films. This film, part of the Spy Universe, also stars Sharvari Wagh. Rumours suggest Hrithik Roshan, as War’s Kabir, will be training the leading ladies for this film.
