Actress Kangana Ranaut recently criticised Mark Zuckerberg for imitating Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s ideas in a tweet regarding the new verification that will be used in Meta Verified. She referred to him as a ‘genius’ in the tweet. On Monday, the actor used the microblogging platform to respond to a user who claimed that she had correctly foreseen the new type of verification that would be utilised in the future. Kangana responded to Mark’s recent disclosure of Meta Verified, a paid programme that enables Facebook users to receive a blue verified badge.
On Sunday, Mark Zuckerberg had made an announcement about the same and wrote, “Good morning and new product announcement: this week we’re starting to roll out Meta Verified – a subscription service that lets you verify your account with a government ID, get a blue badge, get extra impersonation protection against accounts claiming to be you, and get direct access to customer support. This new feature is about increasing authenticity and security across our services. Meta Verified starts at $11.99 / month on web or $14.99 / month on iOS. We’ll be rolling out in Australia and New Zealand this week and more countries soon.”
Following the announcement, a Twitter user posted the screenshot of the post and wrote, “Mark verifying with Government id!!! Kangana said the same before!! Her X-rays are real!!! She is always ahead!!”

Meanwhile, On the professional front Kangana has recently finished shooting Emergency, her upcoming movie in which she portrays the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The movie will hit the big screens on October 20, 2023.
