This Independence Day, movie lovers have a special treat in store with three major film releases generating significant buzz. The excitement is heightened by the news that the trailer for the highly anticipated film Emergency will be showcased alongside the John Abraham and Sharvari starrer Vedaa.
Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency Trailer To Debut In Theatres Alongside Vedaa
According to Bollywood Hungama, Emergency, produced by Zee Studios, will make its big-screen debut as a trailer attached to Vedaa. Zee Studios, which also supports Vedaa, saw this as a perfect opportunity to increase the film’s visibility and build excitement. The trailer, which is 2 minutes and 57 seconds long, recently received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) on August 7.
Ranaut has previously described Emergency as an “ode to our prime minister,” emphasising the film’s portrayal of her life and political journey. She mentioned in an interview with Times Now Navbharat, “It is her life story, whatever good and bad she did. A woman is representative in her own right. But to already assume that I have favoured a (political party), this is a wrong perception.”
More About The Film
Emergency, set for release on September 6, is directed by Kangana Ranaut, who also stars in the film as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Ranaut has not only directed but also produced the film.
The film features a stellar cast including Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan, Shreyas Talpade as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Mahima Chaudhary as Pupul Jayakar, Milind Soman as Sam Manekshaw, and late Satish Kaushik as Jagjivan Ram.

Talking about the John Abraham starrer, Vedaa is an action drama directed by Nikkhil Advani. The film follows Vedaa, a young woman played by Sharvari, who takes on a repressive system. She is guided by Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, portrayed by John Abraham. The cast also includes Abhishek Banerjee.
