Thalaivii, starring Kangana Ranaut, hit theatres on September 10. Now, we have learned that a sequel is in the works ahead of the film’s release. According to a source close to a portal, there is so much to learn about J Jayalalithaa’s life that the filmmakers have a strong cause to create a sequence.

“Thalaivii sequel is definitely on cards. There is so much more to reveal about Jayalalithaa’s life. People are excited about the film and definitely, it will give the makers a reason to make a sequel,” revealed a source to Pinkvilla.
When it comes to Thalaivii, the film is based on the life of Tamil Nadu’s late former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. The film follows the rise of the female leader from renowned actress to politician. Apart from Kangana Ranaut, Arvind Swami plays MGR in the film. AL Vijay directed the film, which Shaailesh R Singh and Vishnu Vardhan Induri produced. On September 10, 2021, released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
