The film also starred Rajpal Yadav. Meanwhile, the third film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise will see the return of OG Manjulika aka Vidya Balan.

If Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was iconic, the next part will be even better. Makers Bhushan Kumar and director Anees Bazmee are making sure the film is grander, more exciting and upping the ante in every way possible.

The popular horror comedy’s third instalment, helmed by Anees Bazmee, will mark Vidya Balan’s return to the franchise after her memorable turn as Manjulika in the 2007 original. Vidya Balan and leading man Kartik Aaryan with Triptii Dimri shot a massive song sequence, which was choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.
The makers made the extravagant track a musical spectacle. Calling it one of Bollywood’s biggest song shoots to date, an insider shares, “About 1,000 dancers joined in on Friday. The peppy number also marks Rooh Baba’s (Kartik) introductory sequence in the horror comedy. He has been working on this for the past two weeks. His prep is flawless. Ganesh and Kartik have tried something unexpected and never seen before. The song’s shoot is expected to continue until this weekend.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was directed by Anees Bazmee, served as a sequel to Akshay Kumar starrer Priyadarshan directorial 2007 cult hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa. In the film sequel, Kartik portrayed the character of Rooh Baba, and Tabu played dual roles.
