Kartik Aaryan is on a signing spree with back-to-back big films. After wrapping up Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, he started working on his musical with Sreeleela. He also announced his first collaboration with Karan Johar for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
Now, he has signed another massive film – a high-budget creature comedy directed by Fukrey filmmaker Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
Makers To Cast A Newcomer As Female Lead
The makers want a fresh face to star opposite Kartik in this film. A source close to the production shared with Bollywood Hungama, “The team has decided to cast a debutant opposite Kartik. They believe a fresh face will fit the subject and script perfectly. Everyone involved in the project is on board with this decision, and the search has already begun.”
Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba is currently auditioning female actors at producer Mahaveer Jain’s office. The team aims to lock the lead actress within a month.
Kartik Aaryan To Take On A Snake In This Creature Comedy
Reports suggest this film will be a hilarious yet thrilling creature comedy. Kartik will fight a snake in the storyline, adding a unique twist to the genre. The film will go on floors in October 2025, with a planned release in the second half of 2026.
Kartik’s 2025 schedule is packed with major projects. His upcoming musical with Anurag Basu will release on Diwali 2025. After that, he will begin filming Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which is set for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release. Once he wraps that up, he will start shooting for this untitled creature comedy.
