Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who is married to actor Vicky Kaushal, has expressed her admiration for her neighbours and friends Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. The star couple have been cheering for the Indian team in the ongoing World Cup 2023.
Katrina says Virat and Anushka are such wonderful support to each other
In a recent conversation during Tiger 3 promotions, Katrina spoke warmly about the equation between Virat and Anushka. She remarked, “They (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) are such wonderful support to each other.” Living in close proximity as neighbours, Katrina acknowledged the joy Anushka displays while cheering for Virat during his matches. “You can see whenever Virat is playing, there is joy on her (Anushka’s) face, it’s beautiful to see that. But I think Virat is an inspiration for all of us, he’s dedicated, he’s disciplined.” Katrina added.
Katrina further expressed admiration for Virat Kohli, she noted, “Look at the fitness level that he has brought in, he has only made himself better. You see the dedication and the discipline that he has brought in.”

Earlier in March, speaking about the time Katrina and Vicky invited her and Virat over, Anushka recalled a funny incident.
Anushka told Grazia India, “Katrina and Vicky have invited us to their home, but we eat dinner at 6 and we sleep at 9:30. So I said [to Katrina Kaif], for you we’ll eat at 7-7:30 but we have to leave soon. So she’s like okay, you’ll have dinner and Vicky and me will have snacks.”
Further speaking about how she has ‘never been someone who enjoys loud, noisy parties’, Anushka spoke about how like Katrina, Shah Rukh Khan, too, understands her ‘awkwardness’, and does not invite her to his parties anymore. Speaking about Katrina and Shah Rukh, she said in the same interview, “The two of them really understand that I’m socially awkward and they accept me that way. That’s the nicest thing that anyone can do in the world.”
Katrina and Anushka have worked together in two films Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero as leading ladies opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Katrina is currently enjoying the success of Tiger 3, the third installment in the spy-thriller Tiger franchise. The film, which also stars Salman Khan, released worldwide on Diwali 2023. Anushka, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of Chakda Xpress, a biopic on former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The film is set to stream on Netflix soon.
