Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday is getting a full-scale cinematic gift. Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Deepika Padukone features alongside SRK in Tu Mil Jaaye Toh, the romantic song from King that arrives on November 2 with Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran on the track, bringing the blockbuster Pathaan pairing back together once again.
Earlier on November 1, Box Office Worldwide was first to reveal that Tu Mil Jaaye Toh would release on Shah Rukh Khan’s 61st birthday and that it marks the much-awaited musical collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Arijit Singh.
Deepika Joins SRK In The King’s Romantic Track
Deepika Padukone’s presence gives Tu Mil Jaaye Toh an immediate emotional pull. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have shared screen space in Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan, and Jawan, making this another major reunion for a pair that has consistently delivered both star power and electric chemistry. With King, the duo adds yet another collaboration to a filmography that has repeatedly connected with audiences, reinforcing their image as one of Hindi cinema’s most successful and hottest on-screen pairings.
Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that the track has been mounted as a romantic number, making their reunion the central attraction of the release. After setting screens ablaze with their chemistry in Pathaan and their crowd-pleasing appearance in Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are once again leaning into the charm that has made their collaborations so popular with audiences across theatrical releases and song appearances alike.
‘Tu Mil Jaaye Toh’ Full Song Arrives On November 2
Tu Mil Jaaye Toh will be unveiled in full on November 2 as a special birthday treat for Shah Rukh Khan’s fans. This is not a teaser, a promo, or a short glimpse. The entire song is scheduled to drop tomorrow, giving fans a complete musical experience rather than a brief preview.
That detail gives the launch even greater event value. With Deepika Padukone sharing the frame with SRK and the Arijit Singh, Ed Sheeran collaboration adding crossover appeal, the release has all the makings of a major birthday moment for the superstar and his fanbase.
King Details And Shah Rukh Khan’s Recent Work
King is directed by Siddharth Anand, who previously directed Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in Pathaan, making this reunion especially interesting within the film’s larger rollout. The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026, and every new reveal is clearly being designed to build scale around that year-end launch.
Shah Rukh Khan’s last theatrical releases were Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki in 2023, while Deepika Padukone’s recent films include Fighter and Kalki 2898 AD in 2024. Their reunion in Tu Mil Jaaye Toh gives King an emotional and nostalgic edge early in its campaign, while Siddharth Anand’s direction ties the song even more closely to a pairing that already delivered one of Hindi cinema’s biggest modern crowd-pleasing combinations.
