It seems like the wait for Krrish 4 might be ending soon. Rakesh Roshan has confirmed that the next chapter of the superhero franchise is almost ready. He teased an official announcement, sparking major excitement.
Rakesh Roshan Shares Update On Krrish 4
In a recent chat with ANI, he was asked about the film’s status. He responded, “Yes, it’s almost ready now. I’ll be announcing very soon.” Fans have been waiting for updates for years and this statement has only added to the hype.
This time, Rakesh Roshan will not be directing the film. He previously helmed Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3, but has now stepped away from directing. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, he explained, “The day has to come when I have to pass on the baton.”
He said he wanted to oversee the project while letting someone else handle the direction. He also added, “There’s no guarantee that if Rakesh Roshan directs Krrish 4, it’ll be a blockbuster.”
Filmmaker Is Confident About The 4th Instalment’s Plot
The filmmaker has taken his time to perfect the script. In a 2023 interview with Pinkvilla, he shared that while the script was ready, he was still making changes.
He said, “We have the script ready, but we keep on improvising. I still feel there is some scope for improvement. We can’t make films on budgets as high as Hollywood, and hence, our content has to be strong and new in this world of superheroes.”
He also called the story “magical” and promised that it would grab the audience’s attention in the first 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan is preparing for War 2, a major film in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie stars Kiara Advani and Jr. NTR alongside him. It is set for a worldwide release on August 14, 2025. Hrithik is also expected to shoot a much-awaited dance-off sequence, which was delayed due to his leg injury.
