Liger: One More Film Promotion In Mall & Poor Security Causes Problems For Fans & Actors Think They Are ‘Stars’

Reports suggest that a few female fans fainted and started crying due to the suffocation.

To promote Liger, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday went to a mall on July 31. The entire mall was filled with audience which waa supported by poor security. The Arjun Reddy actor urged fans to maintain composure and avoid starting a stampede. The audience was in large number and hence it created a havoc. Therefore, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday made the decision to leave the event midway.

Reports suggest that a few female fans fainted and started crying due to the suffocation. The volunteers were unable to handle the audience due to poor security and actors think they are the ‘stars’.

Later that day, Vijay Deverakonda wrote a note for fans in Mumbai, which read, “You love has touched me. Hope you all are safe and back home. Wish I could have been there with you all so much longer. Thinking about you all as I go to bed. Goodnight Mumbai #Liger (sic).”

Liger is a sports drama in which Vijay Deverakonda essays the role of an MMA fighter with stammering issues. The Telugu-Hindi bilingual is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. Liger will have a worldwide release in five languages on August 25. The trailer and two songs from the film have been unveiled so far and the audience are eagerly waiting for the film’s release.
