The highly anticipated Love And War directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is back in the news with its latest filming schedule at Film City, Mumbai. The new phase of shooting started yesterday & focuses on intense, dialogue-heavy confrontations between the lead trio Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
This part of filming will continue until January 11 and will cover crucial scenes exploring the deep dynamics between the characters.
Alia, Ranbir & Vicky Shoot Key Emotional Sequence For Love And War
A source close to the production shared that these powerful moments are essential to the film’s storyline. “The conversations are raw and confrontational, showcasing the emotional intricacies between the characters,” they said to mid-day.
Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky are reportedly giving their best performances. The scenes centre on themes of love, betrayal, and redemption, and insiders say the trio is fully immersed in their roles. “Bhansali’s direction demands emotional vulnerability, and all three actors have embraced the challenge fully,” said a production insider.
The film began production in November 2024 and is expected to be completed by mid-2025. Bhansali’s tight shooting schedule will allow plenty of time for his signature extensive post-production process.
Orry & Deepika Padukone In The Cast?
Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani (Orry) has joined the project and will play Alia’s best friend. His character is reportedly a homosexual man.
Deepika Padukone will also make a brief but significant appearance in the film, though details about her cameo are being kept under wraps.
Ranbir and Vicky portray officers in the Indian Armed Forces, while Alia takes on the role of a cabaret dancer in the film.
