Filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s eagerly awaited film Love And War is in full swing. Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal are leading a complex scene that was shot over the weekend at Studio 2 in Film City, Goregaon, Mumbai. The two actors will continue filming on a stunning disco-inspired set for the next week.

As per a mid-day report, the set is truly impressive & has been designed with an 80s disco theme that gives the film a nostalgic and magical atmosphere. Around 30 cast members are seen dancing to classic tunes like “Laila Main Laila.”
The lively atmosphere reflects Bhansali’s meticulous attention to detail. A crew member mentioned how the director’s focus on every little aspect, from the music to the lighting & elevates the entire scene.
In the middle of this high-energy environment, Alia and Vicky’s characters engage in an emotional confrontation that adds depth to their story.
Alia To Leave For Alpha’s Next Schedule In Early December
Alia will spend the next ten days preparing for her scenes in Love And War. This marks her second collaboration with Bhansali after their success with Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022. Once filming wraps up, Alia will move on to her other project, Alpha, which begins in early December.
Ranbir Kapoor Recently Spoke On Reuniting With Love And War Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali
Bhansali’s influence stretches beyond his current film. At the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2024, Ranbir Kapoor expressed his excitement about working with Bhansali again after almost 20 years.
Ranbir referred to him as his godfather and credited Bhansali with teaching him everything he knows about acting and filmmaking. He also praised the director’s dedication to his craft, noting that Bhansali’s films consume his every thought. Ranbir said, “All he wants to do is talk about the character he wants to create and try something new.”
For the unversed, Love And War is set to hit theatres in 2026.
