Bhansali’s cinema is known for exacting staging, elaborate visual design and tightly choreographed dramatic beats, so the climax is not a section that can be assembled in fragments or rushed into completion.
The filmmaker is using the downtime strategically. Work on post-production elements is moving alongside the production pause so that once the actors return, the remaining schedule can be completed without losing more momentum.
