Manoj Bajpayee has denied recent rumours about him teaming up with Kay Kay Menon and director Neeraj Pandey for a Netflix thriller. The report had suggested the trio would star in a gripping film set for a 2026 release. However, Bajpayee quickly dismissed these claims.
The initial reports mentioned that the film would be released directly on Netflix, with pre-production already underway and filming expected to start in May 2025. The plot was kept a secret, but the star cast and thrilling premise had sparked interest. Director Neeraj Pandey, known for his work on Baby and Special Ops, was said to be focusing on the project.

Bajpayee addressed the rumours with a simple response on social media, saying, “Kab hua ye? (When did this happen?)”. The author of the article later apologised for the misinformation.
Pandey, who is working on the second season of Special Ops for Disney+ Hotstar, has a reputation for creating intense thrillers. Fans were excited about the possibility of Bajpayee and Menon working together under his direction. However, Bajpayee’s response has ended the speculation.

Although Bajpayee isn’t part of this rumoured project, he is busy with his own work. He has just finished filming The Family Man Season 3, where he will reprise his popular role as Srikant Tiwari. He was also seen in Despatch recently.
Menon, on the other hand, was last seen in Murshid, a series in which he starred alongside Tanuj Virwani. He remains a respected figure in the industry, known for his strong performances in both films and TV shows.
While there is still buzz around Pandey’s future projects, it seems fans will have to wait longer to see Bajpayee and Menon share the screen.
