Subhash Chandra Issues Public Apology To Rhea Chakraborty
Following the closure report, media baron and former Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Chandra spoke about how the press influenced public opinion in the case. He admitted that the media (particularly Zee News) sensationalised Rhea Chakraborty’s involvement and framed her as an accused without proof.
Chandra said the CBI’s report showed there was no credible evidence to support the murder theory. He added that the media unfairly targeted Chakraborty, with Zee News leading the charge. As a mentor to the network, he urged Zee News to acknowledge its mistakes and apologise. He also extended his own apology to Rhea, despite not being personally involved.
