Sanjay Dutt made sure all eyes were on him at the trailer launch of his upcoming horror-comedy The Bhootnii. The event was held at a Mumbai multiplex and saw Dutt along with co-stars Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Beyounick, Aasif Khan, and producers Deepak Mukut and Hunar Mukut. Writer-director Sidhaant Sachdev also joined the team for the grand reveal.
However, it wasn’t just The Bhootnii that had the media buzzing. With Salman Khan’s Sikandar set to release on March 30, Dutt was asked for his thoughts on the much-awaited Eid blockbuster. He didn’t hold back and stayed true to his candid style
Sanjay Dutt Praises Sikandar Trailer, Confirms Reuniting With Salman Khan
Speaking to the media, he said, “Sikandar’s trailer is a super-hit! Salman is my chhota bhai. I always pray for him. God has given him a lot, and I am sure that this film will also be a super-hit.”
His comment was met with applause from the audience, showing just how much fans love their bond.
The biggest surprise of the night was Dutt confirming his reunion with Salman Khan.
He said with excitement, “Yes, Salman and I are indeed working together. We both are brothers, and we are coming together. You all have seen us in Saajan (1991) and Chal Mere Bhai (2000). Ab dono mein tashan dekh lijiye!”
He revealed that the film will be an action-packed entertainer. The actor added, “It’s an action film, and I am very excited and happy that I’ll work with my chhota bhai after 25 long years.”
Superstar Shuts Down ‘Age’ Question With Style
The trailer of The Bhootnii features Dutt pulling off some intense action sequences. A journalist asked him about doing stunts ‘iss umar mein’ (at this age), and Dutt had the perfect response.
“‘Iss umar mein’ – iss baat ka kya matlab hai? When the heart is young, age doesn’t matter!” he said, proving yet again that he’s still got the swag.
Adding to the fun, when asked what he would do if he had the power to be invisible, Dutt cheekily replied, “I want to say a lot on this, but I won’t (laughs)!”
For the unversed, The Bhootnii is set to hit cinemas on April 18. Sanjay Dutt’s presence alone has already generated major excitement, and his confirmation of reuniting with Salman Khan has only added to the hype.
