Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are set to grace the silver screen together in Karan Johar’s upcoming production, Mr & Mrs Mahi.
The film’s trailer released a few days ago, has sparked considerable interest among audiences. One standout moment from the trailer that caught everyone’s attention was a snippet of the iconic song “Shava Shava” from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
The makers have announced a new track titled “Dekhha Tenu”, which is a recreated version of “Shava Shava.” Notably, the lyrics of this song feature the word ‘Mahi,’ perhaps explaining the decision to incorporate it into the film.
The lyrics, “Dekha tainu pehli pehli baar ve, Hone laga dil bekaraar ve, Rabba mainu ki ho gaya dil jaaniye.. Haaye mainu ki ho gaya. Sunke teri baatein sone yaar ve, Mahi mainu tere naal pyaar ve, Haaye main mar jawaan dil jaaniye..,” evoke a sense of romance and longing.
Fans can anticipate the release of this track tomorrow, May 15.
