Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba is all set to bring the third installment of his hit film Fukrey. According to the reports the makers are planning to add COVID-19 situation in the third part of Fukrey.
While Lamba’s initial script did not have a mention of COVID-19. The makers are now thinking of adding this angle in the film. However, they are quite conscious to show the entire situation so that it doesn’t look forced.
Previous two installments Fukrey and Fukrey Returns were high on entertainment with a social message.
According to the director, the film was already conceived before the lockdown and now his team is working in completing the script which is some percent done.
Fukrey’s cast will be the same as previous including Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Pankaj Tripathi, and Richa Chadha with a few new additions.
The director also hinted that if the COVID-19 situation doesn’t fit in the script they will plan a full-fledged feature film on it.
