Munjya fame Abhay Verma is reportedly set to team up with Shanaya Kapoor for a new film. Sources say the project is gaining attention, though nothing is official yet.
Will Abhay Verma & Shanaya Kapoor Star Together In A New Film
Abhay (who earned praise for his role in Munjya) is continuing to build his career with exciting new projects. The film, where he faced off against a monster, became the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
Now, according to reports, this film will be directed by Shujaat Saudagar, known for Rock On 2. As per a source quoted by Filmfare, “Abhay and Shanaya are in talks to sign on for a film directed by Shujaat Saudagar. They haven’t signed yet, but it seems like a formality. An official confirmation could be expected soon.”

Abhay & Shanaya’s Work Front
Abhay’s journey began with small roles in series like Marzi and Little Things, but he gained recognition for his role as Kalyan in The Family Man Season 2. Now, he’s considered one of Hindi cinema’s most promising newcomers.
Abhay is also rumoured to be cast in Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action film King, where he is speculated to play the love interest of Suhana Khan. While this news hasn’t been confirmed
On the other hand, Shanaya is set for her big Malayalam debut in Vrushabha. Her debut Hindi film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey is underway.
