Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is all set to launch two fresh faces, Ansh Duggal and Pragati Srivastava, into the world of cinema. The announcement, made in 2023, has now come to fruition with the unveiling of the official poster for their debut film Nakhrewaalii.

The first look at the film’s poster features the newcomers, Ansh and Pragati, sharing a passionate kiss on a bustling street. What stands out is Ansh’s attire – a pink ghagra, traditionally a female garment.
This intriguing detail hints at the film’s promise of delivering a strong and unexpected message.
The film is slated for a Valentine’s Day release in 2025, making it a romantic yet unconventional treat for the audience. The makers have labelled it as a quirky drama, with Ansh and Pragati romantically paired.

Directorial duties for Nakhrewaalii have been handed by Rahul Shanklya, who has previously assisted Aanand Rai on successful projects like the Tanu Weds Manu series, Raanjhanaa, and Zero.
Rahul’s directorial experience includes the 2018 comedy-drama Meri Nimmo, a story about an eight-year-old boy’s infatuation with a 24-year-old woman. His unique storytelling style is expected to bring a fresh perspective to this new venture.
