When they read the revised script, they loved it. Vipul asked them to keep their delivery simple, believing the dialogue would speak for itself. The duo performed with such sincerity that the entire scene wrapped up in just a few hours.
Vipul also spoke about the reactions of the British crew on set. Most of them were from the UK, with only a few Indian members. Initially, some believed Akshay’s lines were exaggerated or fictional. But as they learned that every fact in the monologue was historically accurate, their perception changed. The moment became more than just a film scene & sparked real conversations.
