Netflix has dropped a new teaser for Test to introduce Nayanthara as Kumudha. The emotional clip shows her longing for a child and a life built on love.
Nayanthara Has Just One Dream As Kumudha In Test Teaser
The teaser begins with Nayan’s character Kumudha praying to god. She dreams of a simple home, a loving husband, and a child to call her own. She shares this with Madhavan’s character, making it clear that nothing else matters to her. But her journey is tough. At the school where she teaches, someone reminds her that she is not a mother to her students.
There’s a heartbreaking moment in which she touches a pregnant woman’s baby bump and her eyes are filled with longing. A past miscarriage has made things even harder for her, but she refuses to give up.
This teaser comes after Siddharth’s introduction as Arjun, a cricketer. R Ashwin praised his performance. Fans are now eager to see R Madhavan and Meera Jasmine’s characters.

S Sashikanth directed and wrote the film. He produced it alongside Chakravarthy Ramachandra. Test is scheduled to stream on Netflix from April 4.
