There have been some major shifts, with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan making a surprising comeback after a poor showing at the Indian box office. The OTT space is thriving, and this year is proving to be especially strong for Indian content. The popularity of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, breaking into the global list despite language barriers, is a testament to this. Even Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is trending in the second spot among the Top 10 non-English films.

Crew Leads Netflix’s Top 10 Most Viewed Indian Films Of 2024

Crew by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu leads the list of Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched Indian films so far. . With 17.9 million views, it’s the most-watched Indian film on Netflix so far in 2024. The film’s success is a testament to its engaging storyline and powerful performances.

Not far behind is Laapataa Ladies, produced by Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan, which has amassed 17.1 million views. Known for its unique narrative and strong female characters, it has resonated with audiences worldwide.

In third place is Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan, racking up 14.8 million views. This thriller has captivated viewers with its suspenseful plot and unexpected twists, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats.

Following closely are Fighter and Animal, with 14 million and 13.6 million views, respectively. Both films have been praised for their adrenaline-pumping action scenes and compelling storylines.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has also made a significant impact with 10.8 million views. Alongside it is Bhumi Pednekar’s Bhakshak, which has drawn 10.4 million viewers with its intriguing narrative.

Akshay Kumar’s BMCM Shows Remarkable Growth

A noteworthy mention is Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, which has seen a whopping 176% growth in views in its second week. It jumped from 2.9 million to 8 million views, securing the seventh spot on the list. This unexpected rise shows the film’s increasing popularity on the streaming platform.

Rounding out the list are Murder Mubarak and Article 370, with 6.3 million and 5.8 million views, respectively. These films have been lauded for their thought-provoking themes and strong performances.
