November 2024 is turning into a month of pure nostalgia for Bollywood fans, especially those who admire the one and only Shah Rukh Khan. In a unique tribute to the megastar’s incredible career, 5 of his most beloved films are again hitting cinemas. 

This re-release initiative isn’t just a trip down memory lane but a chance for both loyal fans and a new generation to experience these cinematic gems on the big screen.

5 Iconic Films Of Shah Rukh Khan Return To Cinemas This November

The celebration began with Veer-Zaara, which returned to cinemas worldwide on 7 November. Directed by Yash Chopra, this romantic drama stars Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta in a heartfelt story of love and sacrifice. The film, set against the India-Pakistan backdrop, has remained a favourite for its emotional depth, beautiful soundtrack, and powerful storytelling. But before Veer-Zaara, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) made its grand comeback at the iconic Maratha Mandir on 2 November. This isn’t new for DDLJ, as it has been running at the theatre for over 25 years. Directed by Aditya Chopra and featuring Shah Rukh and Kajol, the film has captured hearts for generations with its mix of romance, humour, and family values. Watching the love story of Raj and Simran unfold on the big screen still feels magical, even after nearly three decades.

Fans received a double delight on 15 November (today) when Kal Ho Naa Ho returned to cinemas. Directed by Nikkhil Advani, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan alongside Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta. It’s a touching story about love, friendship, and appreciating every moment of life. The film’s blend of comedy and emotion, along with its unforgettable dialogues, continues to leave audiences smiling and teary-eyed.

On the same day, theatres have also welcomed back Pardes. This romantic musical by Subhash Ghai showcases Shah Rukh Khan in a unique role, paired with Mahima Chaudhry. But the Shah Rukh Khan festival doesn’t stop there. Action fans are in for a treat as Karan Arjun makes its way back to cinemas on 22 November. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, this blockbuster stars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as brothers on a mission for revenge after being reincarnated. The film’s thrilling plot, iconic dialogues, and powerful action scenes have made it an all-time favourite in Bollywood history.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan has had an incredible run with his recent hits — Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki

Now, he is gearing up for his next action-packed film titled King. The film will also feature his daughter Suhana Khan as his mentee, with Abhishek Bachchan playing the antagonist. Munjya star Abhay Verma is reportedly set to play Suhana’s love interest. 

Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, the project is scheduled to begin filming in January 2025.
