In a major development in the ongoing drug probe, the Mumbai Police has summoned two well-known names. Actor Siddhanth Kapoor and social media influencer Orry (Orhan Awatramani) have been called by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC). They are required to appear before the Ghatkopar unit to record their statements in connection with a massive drug case worth Rs 252 crore.
According to reports, Siddhanth Kapoor, who is the brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor, has been asked to appear on November 25. On the other hand, Orry has been summoned for the next day, November 26. The police want to question them regarding their alleged links to the case, which involves a huge quantity of MD drugs.
A History Of Controversies
This is not the first time that Siddhanth Kapoor has faced legal trouble regarding drugs. In 2022, he was arrested by the Bengaluru Police for allegedly consuming drugs at a party. He was later released on station bail after medical tests confirmed the consumption. His name cropping up again has raised eyebrows.
Similarly, Orry was also named in an FIR filed by the Katra police in March 2025. He was accused of consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir, which is prohibited in the religious town. The police had emphasized a zero-tolerance policy against such violations at divine places.
