Sneak peek delight: Bhool Chuk Maaf to debut trailers for Param Sundari and Thama
In yet another example of Maddock Films treating cinegoers, we’re not only going to see Bhool Chuk Maaf but also sneak previews of two highly anticipated new movies. Current industry gossip indicates that the trailers for both Param Sundari and Sidharth Malhotra’s Thama are part of the theatrical prints for Bhool Chuk Maaf, which is releasing this week.
This does not surprise anyone, as Maddock has a history of debuting film assets first in cinema and then making them available on digital platforms days later.
First look of Param Sundari is coming to theaters
To date, stills were the only material from the Sidharth Malhotra–Janhvi Kapoor romcom Param Sundari that we have seen emerge in cyberspace. However, with the drop of Bhool Chuk Maaf, we’ll finally get to see a first look at a promo for it.
Param Sundari is being marketed as Maddock’s next big release and is slated to release in cinemas on July 25, 2025, directed by Tushar Jalota (Dasvi, 2022). The trailer will drop so close to its global premiere, especially as it will have an exclusive theatrical debut and may drop on digital platforms only days later.
Thama teaser also returns to the big screen
That’s not all. As per the exhibition sector, the teaser of the horror-comedy Thama will also be played with Bhool Chuk Maaf. It is believed to be the same first-look teaser that was released back in October 2024, giving the new audience the chance to see it on the big screen.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar (Munjya, 2024), Thama features an exciting ensemble led by Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is looking at Diwali 2025 for its release, adding to an impressive set of marquee titles from Maddock.
Maddock’s steady cinema-first marketing model
Maddock Films has certainly set a rhythm with its theatrical-first promo model. Which started with the teaser for Stree 2, which premiered with Munjya (in its second and third week), followed by the scorching teaser for Chhaava that popped up during Stree 2, before viewers were shown the breezy promo of Bhool Chuk Maaf when they attended Chhaava. Now, with Bhool Chuk Maaf serving as a launch pad for both Param Sundari and Thama, Maddock is continuing its notion of an exclusive theatrical rollout template, building anticipation while staying communal in the cinema experience.
