Raid 2 is on the way, and this time it’s not just about raids. It’s a full-on face-off. Ajay Devgn is back as fearless IRS officer Amay Patnaik.
The sequel to his 2018 hit Raid has just dropped its trailer, and you will love its intense vibes. The trailer was released by T-Series on April 8 and it’s already grabbing attention online.

The 2-minute 34-second teaser sets the tone for a brutal battle between honesty and power. Ajay is on a mission again, but the challenge is bigger this time. Riteish Deshmukh plays the villain in the role of a shady politician with no limits. The trailer shows their fierce clash, loaded with powerful dialogues and heavy tension.
This isn’t your usual political thriller. There’s revenge. There’s fire. And there’s some serious drama.
Vaani Kapoor plays Ajay’s wife, while Tamannaah Bhatia brings the heat with a sizzling dance number. We get a quick glimpse of her in the trailer, and fans can’t wait for the full song to drop.

Earlier, the team had shared a motion poster with the bold promise: “5th Raid, Rs 4200 Crores. Iss baar baazi hogi sabse badi!” Going by the trailer, they clearly weren’t joking.
About The Film
The sequel also features a solid supporting cast. Saurabh Shukla, Rajat Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial are all part of the story. Saurabh, who was in the first film too, returns with more drama this time around.
Raid 2 is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the original. The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. It’s produced under T-Series and Panorama Studios and will hit cinemas on 1 May 2025.
The first Raid was based on a real-life case and got both love and box office success. With Raid 2, the makers seem ready to raise the bar by serving more action, more emotion, and a battle that’s anything but ordinary.
