The official teaser of Karan Johar‘s highly anticipated directorial venture Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani was released on Tuesday and it has stirred the internet. People have been talking about its great visuals, the song glimpse as well as the two lead actors, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt that are in several frames of the teaser. Ranveer in particular has been receiving a lot of praise for his screen presence in this romantic comedy-drama film.
In just 24 hours, the over one-minute teaser has garnered around 45 million views in total and still counting. This is a massive number for a teaser video. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani marks the return of Karan Johar as a director after 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The film is also a celebration of his 25th anniversary in the Bollywood film industry. Written by Ishita Moitra, the film is produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studio. It also stars Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Ronit Roy among others in supporting roles. The film is scheduled to release theatrically on 28 July.
