Tollywood star Ravi Teja has announced the release date of his upcoming film, Mr. Bachchan. The film is set to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. Ravi Teja shared the news on Sunday, July 21, with a new poster, creating a buzz among fans.
The release date of Mr. Bachchan coincides with the highly anticipated film Thangalaan, starring Chiyaan Vikram. Both films will compete for attention at the box office during the Independence Day weekend.
Makers Of Ravi Teja Starrer Mr Bachchan Announce Release Date
Mr. Bachchan is a Telugu remake of the popular Ajay Devgn starrer Raid. The film will follow a dramatic income tax raid on Indian industrialist Sardar Inder Singh. Directed by Harish Shankar and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, it features Bhagyashri Borse and Subhalekha Sudhakar in key roles.
The production house, People Media Factory, took to social media to announce the release. They wrote, “Waqt pe pahuchneka apna purana aadat hai. #MrBachchan GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON AUGUST 15th. Special premieres all over on August 14th. Get ready for MASSive entertainment on the big screens.” The poster shows Ravi Teja in a sharp white suit, adding to the film’s appeal.

Mr Bachchan Was Expected To Release Early
Originally slated for an earlier release, Mr. Bachchan had its premiere pushed back to accommodate the Independence Day slot. Reports suggest that the OTT platform holding the film’s streaming rights preferred this timing for its debut.
Ravi Teja was last seen in Eagle, which hit theatres in February. Fans are eagerly awaiting his return to the big screen with Mr. Bachchan.
