Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again has secured a massive non-theatrical deal ahead of its highly anticipated Diwali 2024 release. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film is the latest addition to the Cop Universe, which includes Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi.
Touted as the “Avengers of Cop Universe,” the film boasts a star-studded cast featuring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.
Singham Again Locks Rs 200 Crore Non-Theatrical Deal
According to sources, Singham Again has inked an impressive non-theatrical deal, with its satellite, digital, and music rights collectively fetching over Rs 200 crore.
This marks a record-breaking achievement for both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. The massive deal highlights the anticipation surrounding the film, which is expected to be one of the biggest releases in recent years.
A source close to the development told Pinkvilla, “It’s the biggest non-theatrical deal for Ajay Devgn, as also Rohit Shetty. While Rohit Shetty films have always secured big monies from the satellite players owing to tremendous demand from the audience, Singham Again has been paid premium prices by the digital players too. And why not? The film actually has the biggest ensemble set-up for a feature film in last few decades.”
The excitement for Singham Again extends across all platforms. Non-theatrical partners are confident that the film will perform well on satellite and digital platforms post-theatrical release.
The source added, “Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have consistently delivered films with high repeat value. The combination of their individual brands, along with the Cop Universe’s iconic characters like Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, has played a major role in securing this big deal.”
