Following his recent hit, Johar confirmed his next project would be an action-packed venture, and casting news is already creating a buzz. Sources reveal that Sidharth Malhotra is in advanced talks to lead Johar’s upcoming action film.

A well-placed insider told Bollywood Hungama, “Sidharth Malhotra and Karan Johar share a very special bond and the latter feels that the former is meant to do action films. When he was developing the script, the name of Sid naturally crossed his mind. He narrated the film to Sid, and the actor has shown interest in mentors’ action film.”
The film is set to be a classic hero versus villain story, with a potential twist of a two-hero face-off.
The same source further said, “Given the track record of Karan, and the respect Sid has for his mentor, things will fly through in the right direction and the dotted lines will be signed once Karan Johar locks the entire script. Right now, they have discussed the idea and it’s a verbal yes.”

Sidharth Malhotra graced the ramp for designers Shantanu and Nikhil at their fashion show in Delhi on Friday, August 9. The actor turned heads in a striking velvet blazer. One of the viral videos from the event shows Malhotra getting close to a model during their ramp walk.
In the video, Sidharth and the model, Alicia Kaur, are seen posing together. Alicia, as part of their choreography, pulls Sidharth’s collar close, and the actor responds by holding her close. The clip, shared by the Instant Bollywood handle on Instagram, quickly went viral on social media.
