According to IANS, he shed an impressive 26 kilograms in two years to embody his character. According to news agency IANS, Junaid will portray the role of a journalist, showcasing his dedication to the project.

The film’s first poster unveiled recently, features Junaid alongside seasoned actor Jaideep Ahlawat.

Set against the backdrop of true events, Maharaj is slated to release exclusively on Netflix on June 14. Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, Maharaj promises to be a gripping tale of truth and power.

This collaboration between Yash Raj Films and Netflix has generated significant anticipation for Maharaj. Alongside Junaid and Ahlawat, the film also stars Sharvari and Shalini Pandey in pivotal roles.
